What documents are needed to port a phone number?
We only need three things:
Valid government ID: Verify your identity and keep your number safe.
Current provider invoice: Less than 3 months old, with the phone number, Address, Name, and contract ID listed.
Porting pin: Provided by your current provider's support team.
How long does it take to port a number?
The speed of porting a number depends on how fast we hear back from your carrier. The process may take 3-5 business days.
Things to remember before moving your number
Don't cancel your account with your current provider until the porting process is complete. Please only close your account once it's done, to avoid any potential service interruption.
Ring4 does not support either calls or texts to 911.
You won’t be able to transfer your existing phone and text conversations to Ring4.
